With tapered bore bearings , internal clearances are each one level greater than those of cylindrical bore bearings.

TAPERED BORE

For ball bearing with a tapered bore (K), the radial internal
clearances are each one level greater than those of cylindrical
bore bearings as given in the above table.
Example:
d = 40mm — UC208, CN = 6 - 23 um
d = 40mm — UK208, C3 = 18 - 23 um
